AWAY Tournament Volunteers Needed!

The kids have worked so hard on our program and they are ready to show the rest who is the best!
But they need your help to make it even better.  Please consider volunteering your time and help out at our AWAY tournaments.

We have created online volunteer sign up form to make it easy for you to submit your name.

Soda Wars!

Each year students hold a friendly sectional competition.  Students bring in donations of soda for our home tournament concession sales. The Section with the highest average per/person wins a Pizza Party.  Participation is voluntary.
Flutes: Fanta

Trumpets/Melophones: Sprite
Low Brass: Coke
Percussion/Pit: Arizona Ice-tea
Color Guard: Gatorade
Staff/Parents: Water

Parent Meeting

Save the date for our final Home Tournament Parent Meeting, Thursday September 28th @ 7:30pm! We will review the schedule and provide volunteer’s with essential details.

Supplies/ Donations Needed

Our concession stand needs donations.  Any assistance is completely voluntary but greatly appreciated.
Items needed include:
• Full sized candy bars (e.g. Costco)
• Cup-O-Noodles
• Hot Chocolate
• Potato Chips (individual servings)

Sign Up to Receive Important Updates from Director Shedd

This year Director Shedd is using “Remind” to send important updates, assignments, and information.

“Remind” is a free communication tool that lets teachers reach students and parents on any device.  You can join a class to receive “Remind” messages via text, email, or push notification (or any combination of these). Sign up using the appropriate class code/s:

For Marching Band, class code is @20mb17

For For Orchestra, class code is @aae8hb

For Symphonic Band, class code is @f4ff4e

To get text notifications.

Join by text:
Participants text a unique class code to a Remind phone number. For U.S teachers, the Remind number is 81010. For example, if you wanted to join a class with the class code @math, you would text @math to 81010.
Join online:
Visit remind.com/join and enter the class code along with your mobile phone number. You’ll get text notifications at the number you entered.

Get mobile app notifications.

Download the mobile app for iOS and Android devices and create a new account (or log in if you already have one.) To join a class, tap the + by Classes Joined and either join with your class code or search for your class. You’ll automatically get app notifications.

Get email notifications.

Join online:
Visit remind.com/join and enter the class code and your email address.
Join from your inbox:
Send a blank email to code@mail.remind.com. (If the class code were @math, for example, you’d send a blank email to math@mail.remind.com.) You’ll get a response with more instructions.

MARCHING BAND DONATION WISH LIST

The Scripps Ranch High School Music Program depends on the generosity of donors and Booster members to help cover our operating costs.  Below is this year’s Marching Band wish list.  A  voluntary donation, whether it be to cover the cost in entirety, or in any amount, is greatly appreciated.

Tournament Fees $275/ tournament

Equipment Truck $ 200/ tournament

Home tournament and Field Paint $200

Printer w/ Toner $250
