Winter Guard & Drumline Volunteering

Note: Those who have watched these amazing competitions & experienced the positive effects gained from being a part of this group, tell us that it’s addictive!

The Winter Guard season begins with rehearsals and Junior Varsity/Varsity team selections in December and runs through the end of second semester.  Competitions occur on various Saturdays February-April (See the Events Calendar for details). Director Shedd, Coaches, and Captains lead the teams. This is a very self-sufficient team in need only of transportation, food to fuel them for competition, and encouragement.

To be a volunteer, San Diego Unified School District requires you to complete the Parent Volunteer form & its requirements each year.

Volunteers are requested 1-2 weeks ahead of an event through Remind (How to sign up for Remind updates).
