Donate to the Program

While the students and music director provide the talent, there is a great deal of volunteer time and financial resources needed to make the SRHS Music Program a success. The program relies on donations, fundraising, and grants to help cover our operating costs. Every donation makes a difference and your support enables our students to further enrich their musical and performance experiences.

How are your donations used? Donations will go towards online theory training software, repairing and purchasing school-owned instruments, purchase of musical equipment (e.g., bows, strings, mallets, mouthpieces, etc.), music licensing fees, tournament fees, costumes, etc.

Choose your level of support, and whether to make a one-time donation or smaller monthly recurring payments using your credit card.

Don’t forget to ask your employer if they match employees’ donations to eligible nonprofits!

Program Fees

All students participating in the Fall Marching Band program, regardless of section, must pay an annual transportation fee. For more information on the district policy visit the SDUSD Website.

Transportation fee for all Marching Band members: $200

The SRHS Music Boosters is a non-profit 501(c)3 entity charged with providing additional revenue to support the music program at SRHS . Your contribution may be deductible for income tax purposes.  Our Federal Tax ID is 330564403. Please make check donations to Scripps Ranch HS Music Boosters.

* You will be contacted by the boosters with details on how to receive/collect your gift etc. Gift collection is for the current school year only! We reserve the right to substitute SRHS Music branded merchandise for a comparable item. If you haven’t heard from a booster representative within 4 weeks of your donation, please contact us by emailing srhsmusics@gmail.com 

The Constitution of the State of California requires that we provide a public education to you free of charge. Your right to a free education is for all school/educational activities, whether curricular or extracurricular, and whether you get a grade for the activity or class. Subject to certain exceptions, your right to a free public education means we cannot require you or your family to purchase materials, supplies, equipment, or uniforms for any school activity, nor can we require you or your family to pay security deposits for access, participation, materials, or requirement. You may be required to attend a fundraising event; however, if you are unable to raise funds for the event, you will not be prevented from participating in an educational activity.
