8th Grade Marching Band Night & Parent Performance

8th Grade Marching Band Night

The SRHS Marching Band is hosting a special night for any 8th graders that are interested in participating in marching band, color guard, or winter guard in high school.

At the 8th Grade Marching Band Night, students will have the opportunity to meet high schoolers, see part of a rehearsal, try instruments/equipment, learn some basic marching/color guard techniques, and shadow a high schooler on the field for a few sets of the show.

No experience is necessary and the evening is open to anyone remotely interested! Parents are encouraged to join us at the stadium to view a full uniform performance of the SRHS Falcon Corps and Colorguard’s 2021 program, “City of Lights.” This event is not open to 6th and 7th graders. The performance is scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM.

Students should wear long pants and bring a sweatshirt/jacket.
