Our Marching Band has grown and so have our expenses. The one item that students are required to pay are the costs associated with transporting the band to tournaments-$150 per student (SDUSD Permissible Fees).

Did you know the music program receives no funding from the school district? During check out please consider donating an additional $50 to help offset costs for the 2019 Marching Season. Our operating expenses are large and a voluntary donation in any amount to offset costs would be greatly appreciated.

SDUSD Right to a free education Guidelines: The Constitution of the State of California requires that we provide a public education to you free of charge. Your right to a free education is for all school/educational activities, whether curricular or extracurricular, and whether you get a grade for the activity or class. Subject to certain exceptions, your right to a free public education means we cannot require you or your family to purchase materials, supplies, equipment, or uniforms for any school activity, nor can we require you or your family to pay security deposits for access, participation, materials, or requirement. You may be required to attend a fundraising event; however, if you are unable to raise funds for the event, you will not be prevented from participating in an educational activity.
