Many thanks to those who have already donated to this year’s Marching Band Program. We are about a 1/3 of the way to meeting our goal.
As you already know, our operating expenses are large and our wish list long. Unfortunately, this year our tournament, our biggest money generator, was cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. While we will have other fundraisers to help make up the difference, we rely upon your support.
A voluntary donation of $200 would go a long way but a donation in any amount to offset costs for our 2018 Marching Season would be greatly appreciated!
The Marching Band is a vibrant part of the Scripps community, proudly representing our school through competitions and parades. We can all agree that the Marching Band inspires school spirit, enhances community image, and augments student learning.
If you’d prefer to cover the costs of a specific item we have a online wish list, including Tournament Entry Fees ($250 each), Field Paint ($300 each), Equipment Trucks ($300 each) and MORE….
Please ask your employer if they match employees’ donations to eligible nonprofits. In many cases, that means the employer will literally double the gift.
Because you and your student(s) have the right to a free public education, your voluntary donation is optional but would be greatly appreciated. Students’ grades will not be affected in any way, regardless of whether or not their family chooses to donate to the program.
